Hello, I am Tinka and I am
the founder and maker behind Gretchen und Franz.
I am from Cologne and have lived in Berlin for a while.
At the moment you mostly find me in Cologne.
I am a studied Dipl.-Ing. for Clothingtechnology
and a learned costum tailor.
Nearly 10 years I have been working as a patternmaker and costum- and tricktechnician in Berlin.
Gretchen und Franz are unique and lovingly designed products made to be your new favourite things.
All my figures and most of my fabrics are illustrated and designed by me.
But I am also addicted to collecting beautiful fabrics from other designers from around the world.
So in my shop you can find a colourful mix of handcrafted things made from
my own designs and also purchased fabrics.
My handmade things, crafted by me, are available in my etsy shop.
